Drew Brees is taking a much deserved break this week. Too many "he's not playing Super Bowl caliber ball" and "Brees seems to have lost a step" comments have gotten to him and he has for the most part disappeared, the only clues to where he's gone being a trail of empty Nyquil bottles.
The Flacc Man, the Flacc-ster, the Flacc-a-tollah - wait, "flacc" is too close to "flaccid" and that wouldn't bode well for a positive game performance.
Let's see...got it. The Joe-ster, the Joe-meister, the - wait, "Joe" sounds too much like "ho" and we wouldn't want to be known as a team that talks badly about it's players (see, in Mexico, "j" is pronounced like "h").
Hmmm...
Ok, I'll go with this one. Mr. Joseph Vincent Flacco will be plying his trade this week and attempting to fill the huge shoes of The Man Known As The Brees. And you know what they say about men with big shoes, right?
They wear big socks.
The forever revolving-door world of The Kicker has placed Mr. Steven Matt Bryant in the sights of the opposing kick blockers. Since Garrett Hartley went out of his way to not miss a field goal or PAT last week, we have decided to let him have the week off as well to do whatever it is that not-playing-this-week kickers do (Chuck E. Cheese, anyone?).
