Wetbacks DFL Week 8 Lineup

Here it is, Wetbacks vs. Horde Round 2.

The first time, the Wetbacks got a god-like performance from Drew Brees that easliy propelled them past the opposing Mongol forces. The first time, the Wetbacks were on the winning side of a dominating defense that decimated the fearsome Horde. The first time, the Wetbacks had the home field advantage of the pleather-coated Cruzar la Frontera Stadium.

Well, this isn't the first time. Oh, how things have changed.

For the last six weeks since the emabrrassing loss to the Wetbacks, the Horde have gone 5 and 1, albeit one of those wins was against the hapless and kickerless Alameda Criminulls. Since the staggering, I-should-quit-this-league loss to the Wetbacks, the Horde have outscored their opponents 603 to 285. Since the we-are-not-worthy crushing received by the Wetbacks, the Horde have scored an average of 100.5 points per game, tops in the Montgomery Division for that six-game period.

The statiticians be damned, football games aren't won on paper, they're won on the field. May the best team win.

**cough**we will**cough**

Celt's Week 8 Lineup...

0 for 3 against the Montgomery division... could anything be more embarrassing?

Oh, wait, we play Russia this week... yes, yes indeed it could get more embarrassing.

Another week of scrambling, to post what appears to be a formidable lineup. We'll see what happens, but I get the feeling the RUC may get an anonymous tip as to the whereabouts of some enemy combatants... much easier letting someone else do your dirty work for you :-)

We welcome the Revolution to Croke Park stadium with the following:

WR Jeremy Maclin (dnp P Garcon)

Dreamin' Thanks

Press Release from Drew Barrymore:

I and the rest of the Dreamin' Front Office would like to thank Hilary Will and Kaley Cuoco for their efforts this past week.
Having been put into this position very late into the week, they pulled a coup, got a few players in line, and snatched victory at the last minute.

In regards to this win, I would like to announce that both Hilary and Kaley will be our coaches for this upcoming game vs. the JD's.

Love
Drew

Celt's Week 6 Lineup...

I love bye weeks.... I get to make my annual "Because I have no other f%$#ing choice" roster post... hopefully it will be the only one this year.

Just to make it even better, my annual whooping by the Horde starts 3 straight Montgomery division matchups. Since we've already stumbled against the drunks (pun intended) we need to win at least 2 of the 3 matchups.... aahhh, the football gods can be punitive at times.

With finger's crossed, and a bottle of single malt Bushmills at the ready, our Week 6 lineup:

QB Matt Ryan
RB Marshawn Lynch
RB Julius Jones
WR Anquan Boldin
WR Donald Driver
WR Jeremy Maclin

JackStomp - Week 5

It is with mixed emotions I make our team post this week. Obviously we are excited about our win last week, but I cannot help but feel deep sorrow for BigCan for being "that team" this year. Our heart goes out to the friends and family of the BigCan owners, coaching staff, and players. I cannot imagine the embarrassment and shame they had to endure this week just by being related to memebers of that outfit.

Anyway, on to the lineup for this week!

Why do I have the uneasy feeling that my opponent's Wes Welker is going to go nuts this week? Maybe because the Celts always have a knack of starting the right guys against me...

Well I'm hoping this time its not enough, as my Playahs all bring their "A" game to take the early division lead.

Dreamin' Party Photos!

In honour of Down and Out Lynchburg coming to town, we couldn't resist throwing them a little Hollywood Glitter Party, welcoming them to the Bowl.
The media was present as usual, and we wanted to share a few pictures before they end up on Facebook:
First, here we have our Greeting Line:

Some Displays of Football in the hopes that our opponents might make a game of it:

And some interviews even:

As the night wore on however, oh my, we feared for our lives, as the Lynchburg fans took over. The photos are so shocking, we cannot show them here. It even blew our senses. And that takes alot!

Of course, some of the beautiful people also made it to the party, and oh my oh, what a party we had.
To you Lynchburg, may you make a game of it.

Breaking News: California Dreamin'

DEVELOPING STORY: (Los Angeles, California)

Stories have begun to leak out of the Dreamin' offices at the Hollywood Bowl that Head Coach David Beckham has sent hired help to clean out his office and that he has not been to the facility all week. Rumours are that he has packed up and headed back to London to prepare for the 2010 World Cup being held in South Africa. A move like this can only be seen as a negative for the Dreamin', who have struggled in their four games this season, maintaining a feeble .500 record. There has been no official word from Owner Drew Barrymore yet, as she has been travelling the nation promoting her new movie. GM Keira Knightley, in London all week, had only made the comment "No Comment" up to this point.
As soon as we know more, information shall be provided. Stay tuned...

Celt's Week 5 Lineup...

Barring any unforeseen injury changes, the Celt's are setting their weekend lineup early to get in extra reps for the starters...

... well, that and the fact that management will be out drinking on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and does not want to take the chance on forgetting to post... (hic)

In the 1st place battle w/ Angola for Rommel Division superiority, the Celt's will field the following selection of superior athletes:

At QB, after a week off to rest, and remember how to find Tony in the end zone...
Matt "Birdman" Ryan

At RB, a triple threat scoring machine, who also likes surfing and sport-fishing...
Ronnie "Downtown" Brown

Also at RB, filling big shoes w/ big feet and broad shoulders...
Glen "Pass The Sugar" Coffee

At WR, with an extra week of healing under his belt, and still no contract extension...
Anquan "Bold As Love" Boldin

At slot WR, without any new injuries to report (1st time for everything) this week...
Wes "Whippet" Welker

Also at WR, proving that anyone can be good when a HOF QB is throwing the ball...
Pierre "Man-child" Garcon

At TE, with a week off to remind his QB that he's a HOF shoe-in...
Tony "Hey Matt, I'm Open" Gonzalez

At KI, providing half of the Cowboy's offense this season...
Nick "Damn I'm Good" Folk

And our starting DEF this week, by virtue of them being our only defense this week...
New York "Football" Giants

May the best team win. And in case that does not happen, then congratulations to the Playahs.

Dreamin' Неделя 4: Dreamin' Week 4

Just for you, my opponent Russian Revolution:

Сделав торговлю для "Старика Мазона", и возвращения его в сгиб, мы даем Liu одну отсрочку недели. Хотя Революция послала его нам плохо, мы приняли торговлю тем не менее. Революция Спасибо. JackHoles!

Romo
WR: Jerricho "Промежность" Cotchery
TD" Henderson
Moore
TE: Cris "Горячая Жена" Cooley

And now for the rest of you, here's the version most of us can understand (with exception to the Jackstomp and JD's):

Having made a trade for "Old Man" Mason, and bringing him back into the fold, we give Liu a one week reprieve. Although the Revolution sent him to us ill, we accepted the trade nonetheless. Thanks Revolution. JackHoles!

Did I mention that I miss Alex Trebek's mustache? Anyone else think he would look hot in a "GreyFro"?

Speaking of the Revolution, my opponent for the week. We still wish you would add some color to the locker room. Its dingy grey walls and all cement benches, lockers and doors really adds a touch of...dismal. At least some orange lockers? Hell, we'd take Red lockers at this point.

Our lineup you ask? OK, here it is:

QB: Tony "Improving" Romo
RB: "Lucky" Pierre Thomas
RB: Reggie "Yes or No to Kim's" Bush
WR: Jerricho "Crotch" Cotchery
WR: Devery "Where's my 1 Catch for 100 Yards + a TD" Henderson
WR: Derrick "Old Man" Mason DNP: Lance "Hamstrung" Moore
TE: Cris "Hot Wife" Cooley
PK: John "Kicker" Carney
DF: Dallas "Hello Mr. Orton" Cowboys
