Wetbacks DFL Week 8 Lineup

Here it is, Wetbacks vs. Horde Round 2.

The first time, the Wetbacks got a god-like performance from Drew Brees that easliy propelled them past the opposing Mongol forces. The first time, the Wetbacks were on the winning side of a dominating defense that decimated the fearsome Horde. The first time, the Wetbacks had the home field advantage of the pleather-coated Cruzar la Frontera Stadium.

Well, this isn't the first time. Oh, how things have changed.

For the last six weeks since the emabrrassing loss to the Wetbacks, the Horde have gone 5 and 1, albeit one of those wins was against the hapless and kickerless Alameda Criminulls. Since the staggering, I-should-quit-this-league loss to the Wetbacks, the Horde have outscored their opponents 603 to 285. Since the we-are-not-worthy crushing received by the Wetbacks, the Horde have scored an average of 100.5 points per game, tops in the Montgomery Division for that six-game period.

The statiticians be damned, football games aren't won on paper, they're won on the field. May the best team win.

**cough**we will**cough**
