Russia Week 13

RED SQUARE --- The lights are low, the flickering shadows of oil lamps casting unimaginable shapes upon the brick walls surrounding the stadium.

There used to be crowds here --- no more.

There used to be signs of happiness, and recreation, and community --- no more.

Instead, there are barely-whispered words about "playoffs" and furtive glances at the schedule.

Since the disappearance of Dept. H and the subsequent horrifying missives and sounds emanating from a remote polar weather station, there has been nothing at all to indicate that there was once life here in Red Square that did not carry with it an impossible fear.

And so, delivered by some eldritch wind, a leaflet falls upon the unwashed field. Letters in a color too vile to be named, on a parchment that stinks of corruption and damnation.

It is the Revolution's final lineup of the regular season.
